Chrysler Turbine Car Program

Chrysler Turbine Car Program
Chrysler worked on it all through the 50's and early 60's.
Ford and GM had their experimental V8 and other gas engines and Chrysler had the turbine.
Hot rodders and racers were familiar with it because of surplus jet engines being put in race cars.
Lot of go-go ideas from the 50's and early 60's lost steam in the mid 60's.
Chrysler pulled the plug on turbines around '64.
Andy Granatelli picked up the torch with his Indy cars.
Now it is rare to see anybody attempting it.

Here are some links for GM experimental V8's.

Anybody know of same kind of articles about Chrysler experimental engines?
Only other experimental Chrysler engine I know of is WWII engine.I may be confused about that even. That might have been Ford.V12 or something.
The Chevy article above is not really GM engineers playing Indy racers it's an aftermarket guy.Pretty mean of GM not to let Chevrolet engineers have any fun!
