New york is one of the worst places to move if you like your cars to be rust free. they use so much salt on the roads that if you dont wash your cars at least once a week within 2 or 3 years you will be doing body work. i just found a nice sized rust hole in the subframe of my fifth avenue when i was raising the rear end a little bit. Not sure but i may be able to fix it. Damn NY for your salt.

I had my car in Kentucky for 4 years and thankfully never had a rust problem. I washed it (and still wash it) maybe 3-5 times a week though.

Indianas just as bad, they salt the heck outa the roads here, I dont get my runner out at least till the march rains hit us, then its ok.
