engine craddle

engine craddle

Can anyone tell me where to find a roll around engine craddle for a 383 or 440.

Most performance shops carry them or try a regular parts dealer like UAP or whoever is in your area ...

Easy if your a ford or chevy, but I'm not finding much so far for a mopar product.

don't matter what it is, the stand is adjustable to use with most motors, just get something on the heavy duty side due to the weight of the big block

sorry just read "craddle" not stand or is that what your after?

You could always build one out of 1.5"x1.5"x.25" square tubing, plates and casters..... probably more than one that you could just buy.

Build one yourself! It is easy!



This one holds the engine and trans and allows me to install everything from under the car the way the factory did it.



Here it is hanging from inder the car to show how it fits:



And here it is rolling it under the car with the K frame, headers, trans, starter, everything all assembled!

Sweet set up Crazy! By the way, you might want to scrub the underneath of that car....I think I see a spot of dust!

Thanks!, it still looks nice but it has been driven. There is a little more "Dust" down there now, but it still cleans up OK.
