Headlight Problem

I have a 1967 Satellite with a headlight problem. When I turn on the headlights the low beams will not light. I hit the dimmer switch and all 4 headlights light up. I changed the dimmer switch and the problem is still the there. Any Ideas????

Might be grounds, might not

Here's how 4 light setups work

The LOW beams have TWO filaments.

So if we assume the grounds are good.................

When you are on high beam, the headlight switch feeds power to the dimmer, which feeds power out one wire for "hi" through the bulkhead, and feeds power to ALL FOUR high beam filaments---one in each lamp

On low beam, the dimmer feeds LOW beam power out the remaining wire THROUGH THE bulkhead, and to BOTH low beam filaments in the outer lamps

So check that you have power coming out of the dimmer, check that it "gets through" the bulkhead, and then check power at the lamp plugs.

YOU MIGHT HAVE both low beam lamps blown out!!! and the high beam filaments still work!!!
