Hello from a new guy.
Hello all, and thanks for accepting me.
I grew up with Mopars, learned to drive in a 65 Savoy with a 440 4 speed swapped in, went to prom in my 72 cuda. But I'm looking for a particular car, I had a 73 dart sport 340 when I met and courted (is that even still a word? ) my now wife. The car and myself, and my now wife parted ways. My now wife and I were reunited years later and I'd like to know that the dart sport is out there somewhere. I'm not looking to buy it back, 3 kids would keep that from happening. I'd just like to know it's out there and loved. I found a picture of a very similar car and will try my hand at attaching it.
Specs as I know as of summer of 96.
73 dart sport 340 auto, brown metallic.white bucket interior, white side stripe. The 340 was a non numbers cast crank engine with non X big valve heads. Early hi Po manifolds. Early 340 intake with a square bore holley. One tell tale would be the swapped in 8 3/4 with Moser big bolt axles (cut down C body) 323 posi. The car was in really good older restore condition as of 96. I owned the car in the winchester va area and I know it was later sold at a small dealer in the panhandle of wv.
Any suggestions advice or help is greatly appreciated.
