HELP PLEASE!!! 73 duster spark problem, wont fire

Wow I would just sit back for a while and try and drink a beer or two to calm down. Before you turn the key on again make sure you go over all your wiring to make sure you didn't cross something over. Reversing the coil wires is not a good thing. I am going to say that your reluctor is not right. As 440 mentioned a big block spins counter clockwise.

I agree. You need to CAREFULLY trace out the wiring to the ECU to make sure you didn't cross something up. You should NOT leave the key on for any length of time without the car running. That may be what you did, or you might have had a bad coil or bad ECU to start with
READ!!!! Here are the destructions I assume you are using a part no. 140001 "Super Coil?" YOU MUST USE your ORIGINAL ballast resistor AND AND AND also the Accel resistor part no. 150001

The destructions:

So far as your reluctor, it APPEARS that you have it wrong. I cannot see for certain, but you want the pin in the slot ACROSS from the arrow Somehow I had it in mind that you have a SB engine.
Here's a simplified diagram of the ignition wiring:
which came from here:

NOTICE that in this diagram, there is no wire going off to the IGN bypass circuit, usually brown. It usually hooks to the coil + side of the ballast

Thank you for that, I left the key on no wonder it went bang. I said enough with it I bought all new mopar conversion kit, distributor, ecu, ballist and wiring harness, and a new mopar coil. Im thinking about gettin a shop to put it in for me, and i can do the rest of mechanical side, this wiring is driving me craaaazy

This is my set-up right now, but im running 4 pin ecu not 5 pin. Is this part of my headache?
Also the guy before never had part number 15001 accel, that was not in there, it was just ecu ballast resistor factory replacment one, voltage regulator, coil, distributor. There was never anything else spliced in with the accel supercoil.

Hello, I have bought a 73 duster great shape, We had the engine running good timing very close, But went to turn the car over the next day and it just cranks??? I checked for spark I have none, there is power to my coil but the light on the light tester isnt very bright. I was told by a couple old timers theres a ceramic resistor??? Could this be it. Also park will not engage and i can crank the car over in any gear? Im new to this overhauling a car but this car is great with no rust and a awesome 440 r/b is in it now with shumacher headers, holly intake, gentle cam. Please help gettin frustrated and want to quit.
Don't forget to make sure there's nothing in the front seat because there is a switch in the front seat if the seat belt is not clicked in it will not spark one time in my 73 duster I went to the store to get some beer at 12 pack and set it in the front passenger seat and I was stuck at the store for hours until I realized what was going on once I removed the 12 pack of beer the car started right up

73 duster
Don't forget to check to make sure you don't have nothing in the front seat one time I went to the store and bought a 12 pack of beer and put it in the front passenger seat and I was stuck there for hours then I realized what was going on there's a sensor switch in the seat when the seat belt is not connected together it prevents it from throwing the spark to the motor and the car will not start until you remove the item out of the front seat or fasten the seat belt
