Hi all, thank you for letting me join! I’m trying to help my husband out. His uncle died of covid last year, and my husband would like to make his aunt an offer to purchase his uncle’s 1967 Dodge Coronet RT. However, he doesn’t know what to offer because the car has been sitting in a dirt floor garage since the seventies and is buried in stuff, so that it is hard to examine. What he does know is that the engine is a 426 max wedge, and there might be animal and corrosion damage to the car. It is mostly original, and had some rust that was repaired in the seventies. He anticipates that the car will require quite a bit of repair and restoration. Does anyone have an idea of what a fair price would be for a car like this? Thank you!
