here we go with cars

So as some of you know, I have had little to no luck finding a 72 plymouth duster for my father and I to work on restoring together. So i have been looking around for almost anything else. We both really like the A-body cars and I have found some Valiants.

First on is a 1965 Valiant, 4dr, 273 V8, auto with rust for $900 just a couple of towns over from me. I'n not too crazy about the body But I have heard that from 65-67 you could get the 273 V8s in a dart, valiant and baracuda that made 235 HP. I'm not holding my breath on this one though.

The second one is a 68 Valiant that is just over 2 hours south of me. The body is in really good shape, little bit of bubbling and rus but nothing I don't mind fixing. Its a 2dr, 225 slant 6, auto and B-5 blue coupe. I really like the body line on it. The car is listed on ebay with no bids. I've emailed the guy telling how close I am and asking what he really wants for it. He siad that he'll be listing it oup on craigslist this weekend.

So I know which one we will probably go with (the 68) but in all honesty, how much do you guys think its worth? Here is a link to it.

Not sure if '72 was the only yr you want but here are a couple in my area. Shipping would have to be taken into consideration but I would be more than happy to look at one and seend report and more pictures.

We don't really want to have to deal with shipping and we really would like to be able to see it in person before making a final decision on purchasing or not.

Yes, 72 is the year that we are looking at for a Duster as they are unique to that year. But like I said, we love A-body cars so thats why we are looking at the Valiants as well.

Thanks for the links and offers though. I will look through them and let my father see them as well.

Well I went down to take a look at the 68 Valiant. Minus it needing some floor boards it looked pretty good. I made an offer and the guy accepted it. I'll be bringing it home next weekend.

I can say that also but I am usually the one that pays for the purse that she wants and its usually after I sent money on something that I really wanted.

Not really, unless I make her really happy before the part shows up or include her in the installation of the part and hope that she had fun installing it..... which doesn't always happen.
