Hey will this work?

Hey guys I found a 1966 B body 4 speed for $450.00 model Mopar 833 23 spline transmission, wondering how well that would fit behind a small block and in my E body? I probably a different driveshaft, but what else will need to be done to make it work. I figure that is a good deal for a 4 speed, and you don't see them too often so I figured I better hop on it if i can make it work for me.

Yeah It's got a 727 in it now I believe. I know I'm going to need all of the other parts to go with the 4 speed but was just curious if I would have to do any customization to make a B body 4 speed work in an E body? And how much of it?

Really? Then why when you find them for sale people specify a body b body or e body? And people seem to want quite a bit more for the E body 4 speeds. lol I just realized that kinda looks rude, I asure you I'm not trying to be rude just trying to cure my own ignorance lol So if I were to put a B body 4 speed behind a small block would it have any problems as far as where the shifter is going to come through the floor?
