the easiest it to get a donor car that has everything you need. I'm sure there are kits out there but I would not know where to start looking. E-bay maybe?

Keisler makes the conversion kit with all the goodies but it is not cheap. Think 4-5K before installation.

Agreed.

Of course there is the trans, clutch, throwout bearing...in the drive train. Plus the possible difference in drive shaft length. Inside the car is the pedal assy, over center spring/bracket, shifter, and the additional floor hump. Now the carpet doesn't fit. Under the hood there is the linkage both for the shifter and the clutch linkage. now all that is done there is carb adjustments.

This is a popular swap and I would encourage it but it is not for the faint of heart or the beginner. Just take a small step at a time and piece by piece it is done.

Most of the hardware and bigger parts will come from the donor car, but be sure to use new parts that are service parts like clutch and throw out bearing and pressure plate.

Good luck, these are getting harder and harder to find in salvage yards. Ebay may be your best bet for a parts car. Don't forget, all the parts you remove are very valuable for someone looking to swap the other way! look for someone that wants to make the swap and maybe work out a trade!

a nice alternative is the full manual valve body. For a few hundred bucks you can buy this nifty device and pop it into you automatic trans. This overrides the automatic valve body so that you cause the transmission to shift manually. TCI sells them for the torqueflite 727's if that's what you have. It is easier to install and thousands of bucks cheaper. Hope this helps!

That's what I have in the race Dart. Close, but not quite the same.
