I have questions reguarding my fuel cell!

In the trunk of my 73 Satellite is a 16 gallon fuel cell. I need some explaining on how I could make the existing fuel gauge for the stock tank (stock tank has been removed) work on the cell

Some do have provisions for gauge.. I would check with the mfg of the tank...
