Looking for ideas on the value of a DLI 445 with a 250 B&M blower and
two AFB carbs, that was purchased 3/96
this engine has maybe 2hrs on it and I have dyno sheet from 11/93
right now it sitting in a 33 ****** coupe kit car from the same time frame

445 what? Hemi, wedge? What block, heads etc is the thing built with?

I would assume that the engine would need to be completely disassembled and reassembled because of the years that it hasn’t been run.

Far too little information to make any guess on value let alone actual value…

 

400 block low deck w/ 3.75 stroke, cast iron heads.
I did start this a few years ago sounds great

 

I don’t know but you can build a 400 block 440 crank 451” with iron heads that makes 600+ hp for roughly $8000 with fresh parts a few grand more will get you another 200 hp with aluminum heads. If the Dick Landy name is worth something I don’t know it’s an outdated build.

 

My uneducated guess would be around $3000.00 at best..... Hope you find a buyer for it.... Cheers

 

With today’s price’s and depending on the quality of the parts it’s assembled with and how complete it is I could see a little more money maybe $4500 but it’s still really hard to say.
