Some scum sucker stole my Dodge van last night :-(

Good news... I found out it has a loJack. The Police recovered it around lunch time. Empty broken ign. They even came over and drove me to where the van was. So no tow

Wow that sucks did they do any damage to it? What is a lojack? When that happens you feel like you have been violated and want revenge like give me just 5 minutes with this ars hole. Hope they found the person too.

Lojack is kind of like a GPS tells you the location of the vehicle. Lost maybe $500 in assorted tools So I feel better, the tools can be replaced..

That really blows that you had to go through that and your tools were missing. Glad you got the van back tho!

Good that you found it, but LoJack is a "local" thing. I live in the PNW, and "up here" there is no LoJack for hundreds and hundreds of miles.

I've been seriously thinking of something like.....................

the cheapest cell service I can buy (call card?) with the phone hidden in the car and powered off a hidden battery charged off the main. That way if the main is unhooked, it will still work for "awhile"

Set all settings for silent/ auto answer, so you can have someone call it and track it.
