In a simular boat here. My kickdown wasn't working, asked a few times if anyone could recommend an after market kickdown cable/kit got no replies here. But did find out that there are 3 suppliers making kits. Lokar, Mopar and bouchillon.
Mopar and Bouchillon are simular, Mopar cost more. Very clean and practical install, heavy duty cables and brackets.
Lokar is cheaper, diffrent style and all cromed and pretty, light duty calbes and brackets but a pain in the *** to set up.
I went with a Bouchillon set up, ordered it thru Manchini racing, they claim it's their kit but it's actually a re-packaged Bouchillon. Reason I didn't order direct from Bouchillon was they are a pain in the *** to get hold of, and are fussy about selling to Canadians.
Install took an hour, two hours tops!
My set up was for the TF-727, not sure if they make one for the 904, but i think htey do.

hope that helps!

I've always used the stock kick down linkage without any issues. Most linkages are simple solid rods with a single spring to keep them seated against the throttle.
It is important that the kick down linkage be installed and adjusted correctly, not doing so will cause the fluid in the transmission to get hot, and reduce the life of the transmission. I've burned up more than one transmission this way. If you aren't up to setting it up yourself, any decent transmission shop should be able to do it in only a few minutes.
