Im installing a ladder bar set up and trying to figure out if the lower bar should be level with the frame.Thanks in advance

 

68, the bar should actually be centered on the frame rail from top to bottom. your bolting it to the frame i assume. and then your using clamps for the axle tube side, if you weld them in place then your asking for problems. you have to have a little flex or it will ither twist the body permanatly out of shape or bend your tubes. Id rather see you tie the frame together with connectors. good luck

 

i ended up tubbing the whole back half.thanks for the info.I bought the car from a guy the was turning it into a drag car but i want something i can drive on the street. i will post pics soon
