leaf springs

I got a set of springs in a parts deal. they are b-body springs, they have the pentastar logo on them, the #`s are 2836128,2836129. The story I got on them is a guy bought a new 69 hemi runner, in janesville ,WS. called it the prarie chicken. he also got 2 new sets of ss springs for it, thengave a set to the guy i got them from , they arent like the newer 1`s w/ longer hanger on the right side and shorter spring. they are both the same size and length. they fit on my bee correctly. I cant find anyone w/ info on them like when they stopped making them , or what they were origonally designed for. the newer ss springs arent like theese. they have 7 leaves on each side and they weigh 2x the size of a ss,or factory spring set. I have never seen another set like them ither. theyre not for sale ,I just want gt some info on them. If your from the janesville area you know the car im speaking of. its white, and has prarie chkn . painte don the side.

Do you have any pics of them?

I don't know anything about them off the top of my head but I'd be willing to bet they are stiff as he!!. They would probably be great in a drag car or if you want some goo handling.

it wont bounce hey well i had a 72 duster i put ST springs on and you could of put a cow on the back and never drop an inch but those got me alot of traction with slicks but when street tires were used they left one heck of a black mark hehehe if they are fitting under your car with no shackle bend i would try them and see what you can do at the line , either you will smoke the tires or the weight will transfer from front to back and give you some awsome traction as its trying to lift the body but its all T&E on what you are trying to do ..... im guessing those are made up to give you more f to r grip you just need to no all the ratios on the matter but i dont so cant help you there sorry ,,, if you can find a old ramchargers catolog the parts number might be in there
