my mom has a nice toyota. thast nite when she pulled out of the eating place her head lights was deem. the next mornig i check the bat, new 4 mo ago, it was ok. the head lights was ok. stopped at my mech shop. it seams some of the newer cars have a deem setting for day time driving. so dont be afraid to ask Qs. go figure.

 

Yep there are 4 things to take into consideration now'a days...
Day time driving lights
Fog lamps
Headlamps and High-beams
All of them could be on or off at the same time, and parcels some of the time....

I recommend that you buy yourself a good, Shop manual and a operators manual if your going to continue to operate a motor vehicle at your motor vehicle Driving approved age.....

and a good new year to you bob. mom does have an owners man. but i dont have time right now to look at it. i just told her to be careful about turning the lights on / off. she is getting to needing some help on some things. right now iam feeling sick. on the first of the new year i clean up me paper work, from the last year. but maybe not this year. but my year end truck mileage is in order.
