Mopar green bearings

Mopar green bearings

I am rebuilding an 8 3/4 and upgrading to disc brakes and wanted some clarity on these Mopar green bearing versus larger tapered Timkin bearings...can anyone please help?

The green bearings will get rid of the factory end play adjusters and retainers. Tapered bearings are desighned for axial(when your going around a corner) and vertical loads ( when your trunk is full), the bigger the bearing means less heat can build up and the components are stronger.

when I narrowed my rear end I put them in and it has made changing gears quick and easy and no problems , it has been at least 10 years
