Bad move. If you mill the heads enough to jack the compression that much, odds are you'll have to mill the intake as well and that "might" lead to other fit problems. I'm sure it's been done, but not the route I'd take.
If you really want to increase the compression that much, look into a new crank, rods and/or pistons.

Anything can be made to work. The amount of work ($$$) and additional parts work, like the pushrods Scott mentioned and possibly valve clearance issues (sorry don't know all the specs) just don't make it sound like the best idea, even if do-able. Now, if your uncle owned the machine shop![Big Grin](https://moparforums.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

If minpins6780 went with the 915 heads, would the puch rods still need to be replaced or are those demenitions still the same and only the combustion chamber size different?

if you mill a head, you need to get new pushrods
if you just get a new head, if the height and everything is the same, you might be able to keep your old pushrods, but i am not entirely sure
to be safe, i would just measure

So far everything that was told to you in this thread is true. Listen do not attempt this you will still need to take the pistons out. If you cut the heads that far the valve to piston clearance will be to close and you will have to fly cut the pistons. By the time you are done you will have tripled the cost of just installing new pistons. Why not get a set of close chambered heads from 67 and back.
