like the title says, what is the most HP you have heard of coming from a small block? N/A naturally, like something from a 318, 340,360. just curious to c what ppl have heard out there besides what i have seen here in cold NY haha!

ok i know the old sayin,... theres no replacement for displacement... ive heard ppl boasting that their smallblock can crank out 600 ponies but i would like to see it before i believe it haha

 

I thought MReeves raced with a small block that was putting those numbers out easy?

 

Guys, back in the day that I did have that "little" small block it was pretty fast... Best 1/4 mile time was 9.85 @ 134 mph. Never had it on the dyno but everyone told me with that mph that it had to be between 600 and 650 hp... Now it was stroked to 396" and had custom pistons, alum rods, and steel W-2 heads.... It did run well and was a ball to drive....
