Need estimated value of a 70 Sport Satellite 383 4 speed.

Hey guys I'm considering buying a 1970 Sport Satellite. Its a matching number 383 4 Speed. Bucket seats, console pistol grip shifter. All original. However the car is in need of a restoration but it is a solid car top to bottom. From what I have read this is 1 or 183 Sport Satellites... saw 1 of 153 from another source. Does anyone have any idea what this car would be worth in its current condition? And restored? Would it be comparable to a 70 Roadrunner? Or would it be worth less since its still a satellite or would be more since it is such a rare car?

here is the fender tag decoded:

A Satellite is a Satellite.. the 4 sp /383 is a plus, worth less than a RR maybe depends on options.. maybe 15K for a complete running car in need of a resto

I think it's cooler than a similar RR. Someone optioned it like this on purpose, that's badass. I'd buy it and beat it senseless like the original buyer intended.

Thanks for the responses guys. I have to agree with Mr. 4spd.. Definitely cooler than the average RR. Simply because someone went out of the way to special order this thing as a hard core muscle car rather than just buying a RR instead.

If it were a RR, then you'd be looking at more $$$ for it simply because of the name. Like Mr.4spd said, someone optioned it like this on purpose. Sleeper?

I simply don't know but the cool factor is kinda there. Whoever ordered this obviously did not want the "GTX police attraction" LOL In my opinion 70 was the best of the 68--70 series
