Estimated time to change oil pan gasket

Hey everybody, I have an oil pan leak due to a blown gasket and my local shop wants to charge for 4 hours of labor. I'm just curious if this is a correct time to change one. The car is a 70 roadrunner with a 383 big block. Thanks for all the help!

The last oil pan gasket I changed took me 4 years, oh yea that is how long it took me to build another motor to swap out the oil leekin pig. But seriously that sounds fair. I am just a back yard mechanic and i would have a good day in doing doing that in a running car.

Steering linkage and headers make it kind of time consuming, as does the windage tray and 2 gaskets that don't want to all line up. Do it yourself, it's not a technical job, just time consuming.
