I have a '66 Belvedere and need to get some replacement headers. I'm wondering if anyone out there that has the same vehicle and motor set-up as I do, and can give me a model # of the headers that fit this set up. I have the following:

-1966 belvedere
-360 v8
-power steering
-727 transmission
-regular sized starter (not mini)

Any help would be great!!!

Just need any set for a LA small block B body. Check TTI headers if there in the budget.

 

I wish it were that easy....everytime I look up a set of headers that are supposed to fit my vehicle, there are always small footnotes that either say, "not compatible with 727 trans" or "fit with mini starter only"... etc. etc. I don't want to get anything and find out half way through that they are hitting somewhere or need to be bent. Once you start installing them, they're yours. I'm looking at getting ceramic coated so I can't be messing with them. Just thought someone might have the same set up as me and be able to give me a part # that they had no issues with.

 

I know what you are saying about wanting to find a guaranteed fit. But FYI, some Dakota's used a mini-starter from the factory that can easily turn a BB motor.
