Power steering pump rebuild

I have a 66 Newport with 383. The power steering pump (with reservoir) is leaking from the stem were the return hose connects at the pump body. Can that stem be removed and the seal replaced?
Thanks in advance for your help.

If you have the pot belly one then I say no. Cause I believe that it is soldered to the body. Just get you a rebuilt one at a good auto parts store.

What you need to do is take the reservoir off and clean it very good and have someone braze the fitting. Baring that use a propane torch and some silver solder to repair it.

RockAuto has your seals GATES Part # 351160 Power Steering Repair Kit; Pump Seal Kit
