Question for Mopar people

Just curious folks. Did Mopar ever make their version of a Ranchero or el slamino? Know back in the early '60s they had the cab over pickups, but what about something like that? I've seen a couple pictures of some Australian stuff here that kind of resembles what I'm talking, but I mean here in the states. No, I don't count whatever they called their mistubichi piece of censored 4 banger, front wheel drive, early '80s.

Don't feel bad it happens to me all the time. If you could find a Satellite you could build one.

More money & definitely way more skill than I've got. I can skin my knuckles a little, no mechanic. Play with lawn mowers some. Fix up old used ones & sell them sometimes. One cylinder, usually not too bad. Would be cool to see though.

Didnt someone take a 70s 300 (or other Mopar) and make a Hurst truck type car. This one done by one person not a production car.

I think I remember seeing that in a magazine or some where.

I'll try good old Google & see what comes up. Probably a bunch of shifters for trucks, but worth a try.

Found a bunch of shifters. One mention of the Hemi Under Glass, but nothing that sounded like what I was wondering about.

Other than that, no Chrysler did not put out any car/truck bed style of car.

Thanks for all the replies folks. I was just curious, couldn't remember ever seeing anything. But with my memory, that doesn't mean much. Just a quick follow up question to be sure I know what I'm talking about, the rampage you folks keep mentioning, came out like '80 - '81? 4 banger, front wheel drive? Smaller than the D-50, sloping front end? Reminded me of a VW pickup that they were building about the same time? If we're talking about the same thing, I always thought that was a mistubichi built, Mopar named thing ( remember when they came out with the Colt & something else like that? ). They had the Mopar name on them, but were built by mistubichi for Mopar. Yeah, I saw the Australian things, I was talking about here in the states. Would be curious to see one of those " Utes " as I think they were calling them up close. Here's another semi-related question, were those built in Australia or somewhere else & then shipped to Australia? Anybody still got one of those old early '60s cab over pickups? Don't remember seeing one while I drooled my way through the Member's Rides section. Man, I've gotta get me one of those keyboard condoms. Getting tired of having to replace it due to shorting out. Drool & keyboards just don't work together very good.

The rampage was an L-platform (think omni and 80's charger).

The mitsubishi made was the starion / conquest, which was actually nice if you like small rwd turbo 4banger coupes.

Okay, that sounds like what I was thinking of. Always thought those were mistubichi made & sold under the Mopar name. Thanks for the info. Actually, thought all that 4banger fwd stuff was. Didn't know Mopar actually built that stuff themselves. I stand corrected. Not the first time & will be shocked if it's the last. I never claimed to know everything & I've been shown yet again that what I thought was actually wasn't. Was the K car an L platform also or was it a K, hence the name K car? Not trying to be a smart aleck. I never paid much attention to the 4banger fwd stuff. Kinda when I lost interest in Mopar, but I'm trying to revive it.
