Did they really put an Allen wrench bolt as the top fastener inside the door? It won't budge.

 

I got it. Had to drill out that stubborn bolt thru the access hole in the door. Can't say I agree with their design but it's done.

Hi. I'm taking apart the door to transfer all the parts to a new door shell. The 68 Charger I'm restoring needs lower quarter skins and new doors. I thought I could get by with door skins but the end of the door where the latch is located is all torn up. Looks like a bugger to repair so I ordered new doors. I will post some pictures of the project in day or so. It's a 383 auto car from Texas! Thanks.
