67 Satellite window issue

Hi, on my drivers side window i have an issue, going up is no problem but coming down it binds somehow, i have lubricated all moving parts but no help. I am attaching a photo of the track at the bottom on the window, i see there is a steel wheel, was this ever covered in plastic? if not does this need to be replaced and how? thanks for any advice. pete

Yes Those had a Nylon roller.......
I sure replacements are available. You have to remove the window regulator so you can drill out the rivet and install the new rollers. then you can reinstall the regulator and adjust the window for sealing and movement. It would also be a good time to replace any seals needed and bumper stops and channel guide glass guides.

Keep us posted....Take lots of pictures to share with us...

If it is like the 67 Coronet that I had? You need to replace the guide on the front of the window that ride between the window and the wind wing window in the metal channel. I think they had metal wheel Plastic didn't start until the redesigned 68

Ive attached the photo of the guide closest to the vent window, is the felt replaceable? if so how does that rail come out, i see a screw or a bolt is that all or is there more. I found the regulator was fine just needed grease . Is there a roller attached to the window that i do not see ? any info will help pete

This is the other side but there is no wheel just guide, I find the window seems to jamb in the felt on the opposite side of the vent but i may be wrong.

I had tried grease with limited success but tried to find suggested door ease, here in Montreal it is no longer carried by local auto supplies but was recommended liquid silicone , i have used this and now am happy to say after greasing the regulator and the silicone on the runner i have a window that cranks with little effort. thanks to all. pete
