Nooooooooooooo...I want the GTX...quit hogging all the good cars dammit printdoc! Or is this your evil plan? Buy the cars and I'll follow?
And I hate Cragars, for the record. Some real bone-marrow deep white-trash part of me does however, have a secret penchant for Keystone Klassics....LOL....

In my "humble" opinion,
there's really only one truly correct answer,
and it's not even one of the poll choices..
Dark centers are the best..
either gunmetal grey or black
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Magnum 500's say "Stock" or "OEM"..
not bad, but nothing really special, anymore..
They only look sharp with redline tires -
other than that they're kind of ho-hum, run-of-the-mill, IMO..
"wow, that's only the 39th car I've seen at this cruise
with Magnum 500's on it.."
Cragar SS's.... what? yet another car with Cragars SS's..? (yawn..)
Really? With all the wheel choices available to you,
we have to look at yet another car with Cragar SS's stuck on it..?
"wow, that's only the 49th car I've seen at this cruise
with Cragars SS's on it..
Is there a trailer court next door or what..?"
The only time they really look good to me is with the centers
painted semi-gloss black
(and then they start to look like Torque-Thrusts lol)
But seriously, wheel and tire choice can make or break a car..
What do you want your car to "say" when people look at it..?
if you want your GTX to say -
"Stand Back! Bad-*** Mopar here! F_ _k with me at your own peril!!"
Then try a set of Torque-Thrusts with dark grey or black centers..
I think you'll see what I mean
(this is all just my "humble" opinion, of course lol
and no offense to those with Cragars or Magnums
on their cars.. i've had those wheels myself lol..
Hey, I've even had Keystone Classics too -
I think i still have a couple in the basement,
and I think the white-letter L-60's on 'em are still holdin air -
i oughta put air-shocks on the Polara, throw on the Keystone Classics
and go cruise a trailer park..
Maybe find me a big-haired blond wearing entirely too much makeup
and dressed completely in spandex.. leopard-print spandex!!
Maybe even zebra-print spandex!! To match my seatcovers!
Totally Awesome!!
Then again, a fine woman like that would probably be more into cars
with Cragar SS's on 'em..)

Factory? Period-Correct? Restified? If I had the car, and had upgraded the brakes to discs all-around, I'd put some wide-open looking 5-spoke style wheel on it to show the contemporary chassis. I like corners so I might upgrade to a 16" low-profile for more for handling as opposed to the 15" balloons. Do you want to set-off the black top? Accent the body lines, contrast the color? the pro builders know the importance of a set of wheels to pull the whole car together. Lets start with your budget!

If I recall from earlier thread, you already have both of these, right? So it's a matter of which one (that's already paid for) should you put on the car? In that case I vote SS's, there may be a million of them out there but they are period wheels and more "custom" than the 500's.

i saved up enough for new rims and tires
i think the mags would look good, because of the black top
but, the cragars were the in-thing

I have a set of torque thrusts on my 67 Goat, and I like the way they look, but would much rather have a set of super stock rims. On my 70 charger, I had Cragar ss's and the car looked like the Joe Dirt Special..I put the Magnum 500's on it and bodda bing! Awesome.
So in my opinion go with these Nothing Will Say Manly Mopar Like These!

someome makes a 17 inch magnum (wheel vintiques??) that looks cool. [kinda billet looking] also, did you see the "new" Cragar SS wheel. It looks sweet. There's an ad in car craft for them. They kinda have that old cast grey center with a machined outer lip and still use the classic SS pattern. somewhat like the torc thrusts but different. They got some other designs too that lookreal classic.
