Just need a little more info.

What vehicle is the motor in? What do you have for a tranny behind it? What rear axle? Have you done anything to it so far?

Clifford performace (I beleive) offer quite an aftermarket performance selection for the Slant 6 motors. Intakes, headers, cams, valves..... you name it, they seem to have it or can get it.

If you go with a 4 barrel carb/intake and header, I'd get a larger cam that is designed to work in the same RPM range. I'm not that great with selecting cams but there are a lot of people here who are.

I would bet you have a 904 Not a 727. also a 7 1/4 axle Start with the Hyper pack ?? Very small 4bbl, or 2bbl probably want about 400-450 CFM , headers and intake. Check the Mopar Performance catalog See what is still available.
Maybe swap to an 8 1/4 rear end

Well i dont know about beign a 904 transimssion but that trans is smooth after 40 years old . You could be right abiut that axle and is a regular 225 / six . I m gonna rebuild it but i dont know if i should put bigger pistons on it so i could put the clifford super 225 / 6 . Sorry for replying this late . Thanks for reading .`

There probably is not a big choice for pistons. Just do a .040 or .060 over bore. rebuild the rods with ARP bolts. A good three angle valve job. And A mild cam.
If you want to turbo it ?? Get forged pistons. May have to have them custom made..

check this thread out. https://moparforums.com/forums/f57/s...pgrades-10972/ i know there are alot of options for getting more power from the slant 6 and most of them are blot ons and no forced induction needed.there is a company in austrailia that makes a triple duce side draft intake for the slant 6 as well.

First you need to figure out who is going to do the machine work
. Some shops will let you supply parts others want to furnish the parts You need sizes for rings, bearings, pistons

Sounds like a good price, but to help a slant it really needs decked and milled... Hope that was included or the 'guy' knows this. The Slant is hindered by a few things and to wake them up attention to details is really needed....
