got the stereo in the dash. fitsgood exceptonerpoblem. i didntacount for the distance the lock in the glove box door sticks inward, the door wont close now. not to big of adeal, i plan to make a better piece to fit in that is made with thinker metal.
the speakers were a pain to get in. the rear window makes it very difficult to drill holes. i only got one speaker in, and only 2 screws lined up.
i wanted to test what i had in, so i hooked up the speaker to the stereo and started playing it. it wasn't bad, it'll sound much better when both speakers and possibly more speakers get put in.
then i thought to myself, "is the car to rumbley to hear music, so i started the car. tehn the stereo just shut off. i cant get it to go back on. what did i blow a fuse or something? why did this happen? why would it work just on ACC but not with the car running?

uhhh, sorry for my ignorance, but i don't really now what that means. i readf a little bit on some articles and they say things about wires coming off the stereo touching metal and grounding. all the wires in the back of my stereo are just hanging, so that probably happened. i didnt even think of that, i just figured since i wasn't using them they could just hang. my bad

i know the corners in the sheet metal didn't come out good in the glove box, but im going to make a new metal piece out of thicker metal. ill try to make it look cleaner.
EDIT: for connections, i actually did use mostly black electrical tape. i ran out of wire connectors.
