Post The strip

Have you been to the track lately? Post up what your car/truck ran for times and at what speed (doesn't have to be recent either, It can be from teh last time you ran it... even if that was years ago.).

Tell us if you are happy with it, what you want to change if anything or what you want/need to adjust for the next time you go out.

My Dart:

11.85 @ 112.69 w/ a 1.62 60ft.

I feel pretty happy with it. That's with a holley 650 DP, through the exhaust, 3:55 sure grip, a 26 inch tall tire, all steel and full interior.

My next plan is to put a Holley 750 DP on, open the headers, put a diff hood on that has a scoop and try to break into mid 11s.

Ill let you know tomorrow, provided it doesn't rain. Wednesday nights are test and tune, Ive never actually raced anything at the local strip, or anywhere for that matter. Hope my mess holds together because the F-150 is in the middle of an overhaul and wont be available to come to the rescue.

Tim -

12.88 @ 108 (4200 pound car with street tires and highway gears) c 1982 ... I was pretty happy with it.

Don't plan on doing it again anytime soon, we're both (me and the car) too old
