Stroker opinions
Ok over the years I've accumulated a set of pistons for a 451stroker, 440 forged crank, and an eagle 3.9"crank for 470stroker.
I am machinist by trade can modify as needed. Actually enjoy doing .
Was planning on cutting the pistons down aprox. 065" to work with the 3.9 crank. But now leaning to cutting the 440 crank to fit into the 400 block and use the pistons as is.
What are your thoughts

My opinion is a question first. Are the 451 piston pins .990" or 1.094", and what is the compression height?
I ask because I would look into a connecting rod first, whether custom length or other brand that would be close to fit with a block deck cut, of course back to the question and pin size.
