Thanks for having me in the forum need some advice for cooling

I recently purchased a 1966 Plymouth Satellite with factory air and a bb 383. I bought a rbb 440 that is built and pushing out about 550hp that I plan on throwing in there but need recommendations on what I should do to keep this motor cool and also the built 727 torqueflite with a 2800 stall converter transmission I purchased as well. I believe since the car came with factory air it would be a 26" radiator but do not know for sure so any suggestions on cooling for the motor and the transmission would be greatly appreciated. P.s the air is no longer in the car

Griffin Radiator, 3 or 4 row, widest that will fit in the support; high flow water pump.
Big flex fan or dual electrics.
Almost any trany cooler, in-line with the trany cooler in the radiator.
Probably need water wetter until the engine loosens up.

Forget the flex fan and use a large clutch fan.

Yeah. With that sort of power, it won't know the fan is there. I ran a big elec on my fury but it was a stock 318. kept it cool as ice, sure, but I wasn't over 500 hp, either.

I agree, plus a radiator shroud is a must.

Do big blocks have water pumps AC specific like small blocks. I remember seeing a small block AC specific water pump with a couple less vanes. An odd anomaly, but it may be worth checking?
