Torque Converter question

I have a nice torque converter that I had made for my 360 small block. Since the 360 is externally balanced it has the weights on it. Im converting my car to a 5.7 hemi now and was wondering if I could take the weights off the torque converter and used it with the 5.7. Im using my same 727 trans and have a flex plate made for the 727.

as long as you can remove the weight without damaging the converter it shouldn't be a problem
