The Trade

I have a closed cab conversion 1946 WC6 with no motor or trans or interior and all bad glass and a crushed driver door. However it is a beastly old army truck. I have a friend who has been trying to get it from me for close to ten years now, and has offered me a trade the whole time. He's got a '69 Polara 4 door and a '69 Polara 2 door and says he'll give me both straight up. Neither run and the interior is shot in both but the body's are in decent shape. What should I do?

What do they have for a drivetrain? Not that it really matters unless the motors and trannies are all blown.

Its all about sentimental value to you. If you are attached to the WC6, then don't trade it. If you don't have that connection, I'd trade for the Polaras. focus on the 2 door, keep parts from the 4 door that will fit the two door and sell off the rest. Or make the 4 door into a family cruiser and the 2 door into a fun car.

Well it sounds to me like you are not making a move on restoring the truck. So the question would be would you fix up the Polaras? If that's a no, then which is worth more to sell?
