I just picked up a B440 11 08 2 motor had 80,000 iles on it.
I now it is a 1966 440 manufactured 11/08/1966
Just trying to find out if the tranny it was pulled out with is the original 727
Numbers on main part 2466900
On tail piece 2466901

If it is I will hang on to it and have it rebuilt later. Would be pretty cool if it was the original trans for the motor.
I plan to drop it in my 1971 Barracuda which was originally fitted with a slant 6 225 but now has a 1970 340 4bl
