I have had my 1974 Dodge van since 1981. I have always used Valvoline grease for wheel bearings. The most recent grease I bought, maybe 3 years ago, came in a blue can, part number VV614, that says "GMC Chrysler European Japanese Vehicles". This product is now superseded by a grease with the same part number that comes in a red can and says "High Temperature". I do not like this new grease. Although it is the same part number it is a new formulations and is very thick and gooey. Does anyone know where I can buy the grease that comes in the blue can or does anyone have some unopened cans they would be willing to sell? Although it appears this grease is available in the internet, it turns out the sellers on the internet are not aware of a significant difference between the grease in the blue can and red and and so they have not updated the image on their website. They show the blue can but in reality are selling the red can.
