Is this worth it?

I hope this is where i post this. But this is my question I been looking for a older dodge truck to buy and found one to buy. They are willing to take 2200 for it. 1991 d150 318 motor. I look at it, it very clean and the interior is clean as well. The engine sound good as well. He said he added some parts like exhaust, carb, and some more that i forgot I wish i have pics to show but don't. What you guys think good buy or no

I agree, $2,200.oo for a complete truck is a good deal. If it needs no work to use and isn't rusted out, even better. Doesn't matter what he replaced, you are buying a truck and it should function. You shouldn't have to pay extra cuz wear parts were worn. In fact just the oposit in my opinion. So any way good deal.

Check the floor boards under the carpet and from underneth. Also the inner fenders, radiator frame support, behind the seat, body mounts and the cross members under the bed. Those are the most promblem-matic areas for rust/rot to happen on these trucks.

For a truck of that year around here to go for $2,200 I'd expect to not have to do any body/frame work and just some mechanical or vis-versa. If you can get pictures that would be even better, even if you have to take them yourself.
