New here with my new find,, 1967 Coronet R/T 440hp... 67,838 real miles. Talking about a find with a story and knowing all the prevous owners.

Quick story in 1987 the owner of the car took it off the road. He decided to build the car for the dragstrip. He tubbed the car, added a small cage, built the 440 and trans. Changed the gears. While working on the interior of the car he died. This car has been sitting for over 20 years under a pole shed and never made one pass down the track. I hate to see it tubbed being a R/T but he did a super job. He did not cut the dash. Still has the factory 150 speedo buckets and console.

I going to leave it tubbed and the cage in it and make a street car out of it.

 

Loos like it'll be a realy street monster. I like it!
