1969 Black Dodge Charger R/T SE

Un-Restored with just the one repaint in 1986 that you see here.(X9 Black again same as new)
All original Sheet Metal, never Rusted, Folded, Spindled or Mutilated.
Original 440 Magnum Engine & 727 Trans, un-rebuilt as in never been out of the Car and obviously Serial #'s Matching, runs excellent.

Really a nice old Car to drive around, with plenty of Poop !.... gets right Pissed Off for an old girl when mashed.

It was quite a struggle when I found it, had to JUMP ON IT, and then after the fact......justifying that it was "worth the Money" to the Wife ??...so I could keep it ??
Goes back to the Female thing I guess.....whats mine is mine, AND whats YOURS is MINE too....so she better be OK with it.

Two things, first you called it an SE and there are R/T badges all over it.
Second, get over to the Mopar of the Month thread and accept the damn nomination...

He doesn't need to accept. If he was nominated and a second was called, he's in.

That is what makes it "rarer" than normal Archer, the fact that it is a Real XS29L9B R/T Car, with the "SE" Option on top, making it an "R/T SE".

The "SE" was more a trim package, and could be optioned on ANY Charger from a 318 2 BBL version right on up to the R/T with Factory 440 Magnum.... things like Woodgrain Dash, Bottom Rocker Chrome, Chrome Pedal Accents....blah, blah I forget all what else.

However, it is rare to see an R/T with the "SE" option Package, and even rarer in the Holy grail of color options "BLack, with Black Vinyl top.
It's all Factory original, Fender Tag & Build Sheet verify the above....you can just make out the "SE" badges on the sail panel in the photos, or, I can post up more ?

Now whats this I have to go WHERE and do WHAT?? HUH ??

Here you can "see".... some of the "SE" Option package stuff...like the Woodgrain Dash, chrome detail around the Pedals, and the Rocker Chrome.
60/40 Bench Seat....with Column Shift....somebody's idea I guess of a "Gentlemans" HotRod ??? lets order a Charger R/T with the SE package, Black W/Black Vinyl Roof, 440 magnum, Posi, yada, tada...BUT...lets put a BENCH and COLUMN Shift in it ????
I guess it was the Vietnam era ?? lotsa drugs maybe ??
