Wow, talk about nice Roadrunners! That is just stupid sweet. Love the Air Grabber. Is it original to the car or an add on by you? Is it the 383, 440, or Hemi?

I'm thinking about the same thing with mine. I don't think it will hurt the value even if it's not a air grabber car. Are you running 15inch rims on the car? What size tire do you have?

if it did not come with it to value is good but because I put it on .one I love it on the car it does raise the value a little .
I am running 15 inch on the car the rears are 275/R60 /15 and 235 /R60 /15 in the front it makes the stand's of the car perfect .the rears are as big as I can put under her without bending the inner lip of the wheel well.
here is what it looked like when I bought her

Yah, I just think the air grabber is really cool. When I was 16YO I bought a 69 Rag Top 383 Air Grabber car. I think I paid $700 for it (the entire car). Obviously that was a really long time ago. The Air Grabber alone probably cost more than that now. LOL. I bought this current car sight unseen (big mistake) and it was a mess. I had to replace the floor pan and trunk, re-do the rear quarters which were new but a crappy weld job, and the engine mounts were rotten and the thing was about to fall apart.

So it looks like your car was a B5 car. When I got mine it was painted B5, but the fender tag says B7, so when I re-did it, I brought it back to original color. It's not an Air Grabber car either, but I agree it won't hurt the value.

I'm going to go 15inch wheels like you did and did not know what tire size works, so thank you for that information. I'll probably do the same as you. I'm leaning toward the Magnum 500's though. 15x7 with 4.25 which should do fine with the rear drum and front disc that is on the car.

mine was b5 blue but when I bought the car the owner handed me the build sheet and tag and told me it was a white car .so I did my homework and found out that there was a few white ones made but not as many as blue or red or green cars so I put her back to her born on color and yes this one came with mag 500 on it but I like the steely's on it .I had the airgribber sent out to ohio to be restored and he did an awesome job .
I live in N.H. where are you at

I'm just west of Philadelphia.
I like the Steely's, they look nice for sure. So you were kind of in the same boat I was with the color change. I don't think it has much impact on the value either, but it's just nice to have it the color it was born with.
If I find one, I may ask you for who restored yours as I'll want an original as well. Like you I had a after market one I got from some outfit in Canada that looked like it might fit, but was way off. I sent it back.
I'm still uncertain as to what size 15' rims to get. I think the 15x7 with 4.25 of backspacing should be good for both the front disc brake and rear drum. I called the company about it and they don't know, I need to make about 1,000 measurements. Do you happen to know what Mag 500 size was on your car? Are you running disc's in front?

what ever color you like but as long as you have the fender tag if some else buys it down the road they can paint it the color they like .having it painted is easy when the body work is in good shape its the hidden stuff that eats into your wallet .if I can find the slip for my rims I will let you know
