i had the exhaust built at a race shop that does a power tune, fabricates the exhaust to the motor and dynos everything. i have the dual headers which are combined into a single 3" system with a flowmaster style muffler. it is loud and mean, at idle with the cam lope and most driving situations it is hard to tell it is a six.

yeah, the head has been milled, and ported with larger valves.
that set-up should work fine for you, before all the engine work on mine, i ran true 2" duals...

I've got 102 to 85 PSI for compression in the motor. I'm going to see how it runs this year and next winter I may pull the head and have it rebuilt. I didn't know if you had yours ported and polished.
What size valves did you have installed? What cam did you install?
I was looking at this one -http://store.summitracing.com/partde...4&autoview=sku

i dont have the sizes right now, when i had the car done the mopar performance /6 valves were uber expensive, the machine shop guy, one of the best mopar guys around, machined and adapted the head to accept sb chevy valves.
the cam is a mopar performance purple shaft - if i remember correctly it was the third one up from the most mild. my camshaft advice is always find one that you think is a little too much and get the next one
i have to find all my paperwork and specs, it was at my parents house and dont think it made it with me when i moved out

hopefully in the fall. figuring everything i want to do and get the appropriate funds - if i start it i want to go non-stop - also dont like wrenching in the 120+ summers. engine is coming out, getting cleaned, painted and noisy gear drive timing set is going in. i want to revisit all the little things i neglected when it was a daily driver and i needed it everyday.

How did you get the seats mounted? I have a pair of Neon seats that I am going to put in my 68 Dart when I get the floor pan replaced. I also have a pair of Cirrus seats for my Duster. I test fitted the Cirrus seats a couple weekends ago, and found the front mount points are wrong for the floor pan, and the passenger seat is a different width from the drivers seat. If you can post pix of the seats mounting points, I would greatly appreciate it.

haven't made much progress on the car as far as the belt drive. found a guy in california that will custom make a kit with a v-belt groove so i can keep the ac.
cheated and half-assed it a little on the seats. on the front mounts i heated the tabs until they were cherry red and bent it 90 degrees. to level it, i shimmed the four corners and used grade 8 bolts.

still in the 100's here - waiting until it gets below 80 to start any work. every major job i've done to the car has been done in the summer heat, time to break the cycle...
