1972 Yellow 340 Duster

Here a few shots of my 72 Duster. It is a work in progress that my kids and I are playing with. Our goal is to get her checked out and repaired this winter for some 1/4 mile action next summer. Will provide updates as we progress.

Some interior shots. This is where most of the work is required, compiling pieces for the missing wiper assembly/linkage/motor (found it!), Parking Brake Pull Lever assembly, dash pad, various trim pieces, seatbelts etc). The wiring was butchered. But we got everything working except the turn signals and dash lights.

It's a good looking Duster! Nothing is more fun than getting some time in on a vehicle with one's kids/parents.

Thanks 78D200. And that is so true. Looking forward to building memories as well as the car.

Nice duster. Is it a true 340 car?

Thanks. Yes, it was originally a manual tranny car. At some point in it's life a reverse manual valvebody 727 was swapped into it. The motor seems to be the original piece based on the casting #'s.
