2001 bright silver dodge dakota
Here is my 01 2wd dakota.
3.9 V6
5 spd manual tranny
9.25 rear axle
Alpine head unit
MSD coil
8mm wires
Flowmaster 40 series muffler
JET programmer
custom air intake with K&N filter
roll pan rear bumper
This is an older pic of it (last year I think).

I have always been fond of the silver color and was thinking of painting the challenger that with dark gray barbwire pin striping but leaning more at a burnt orange and silver striping but to many colors to choose from bet you get decent milage out of it dont you ??

Oh yes I do. I average between 21 to 25 MPG depending on how fast I feel like going. I normall drive 55 MPH on the highway to work so I can get some good milage (about 400+ miles) on one tank of gas.

here it is. my dad has one on his 4.7l 5spd ram - it is really a great upgrade. wish they made one for my 6spd.

Only problem is, that won't fit my tranny. I don't have the 3500 5 spd. There were two trannies offered behind the 3.9L in the Dakota's.
Unfortunitely I can not remember what they were off the top of my head. I know one was the AX15 though.

I'll have to have someone run the VIN to figure it out. The Dakota getting parts now is just out of the question. With a J10 that I am finishing up and a Valiant showing up this weekend, I won't have much money for the Dakota unless something breaks.

no pesky shipping boxes and packages to hide until garbage day and half the time the part is on before you get home. it's not like she will notice any differences in your ride. paypal is good too, like a little swiss account

The problem is the girlfriend does notice the little things like shifters. I could have it sent to my work, but I don't have the for it anyhow.... unless you want to buy it for me as a gift.
I love Alpine for audio. I've been using them for my last two trucks and it always sounds gread and lasts a long time. I've used Kenwood and Sony and never was real happy with them.

Other than that, I did not notice a difference in performance or fuel economy.

Well I finally got the Alpine amp and P3 sub installed today. I ended up building a box that fit behind the driver's seat instead of the center conseal..... for now (that will take some more planning). I have to give the sub a 24 hour break in period so I figure after driving my normal amount for about a month, I can really crank it and rattle whatever I have left for marbles in my head out.
