This is Paul Mazza. He was forced to retire after being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. He would always stop by while working to get a glimpse at my old car. He has lived longer than doctors expected. He wanted to take a ride in my car to fulfill a last wish. He grinned throughout the ride and kept saying he feels like a kid again. I admire his outlook on life and death. I hope I made at least one of his final days a happy one.
Paul is the big guy wearing the Champion t-shirt. I'm 5ft11 and he towers over me. He read water meters and stayed past retirement because he loved meeting and talking with people. I still strive to be like him and have his outlook.
I'm sad to say but my friend who took his last ride in my Mopar passed away. He was grinning ear to ear saying he was a kid again. I know he's cruising heaven in his favorite Mopar.
