My 1968 Plymouth Fury III Convertible- "Trouble"
I bought this old girl about 8 years ago when she was being used as a chicken coop, with a tarp over the top to keep the rain out. I am almost doen with restoring one bit at a time, but things are progressing much slowe these days as I have two little ones and a demanding career. Looking to finishe her up in the next couple of years, driving her as I get each piece back to showroom condition. It was a factory special order to get the stainless trim down the side painted with the dark red color to mirror hte interior. Usually they came in black or white. At some point one of the previous owners (or potentially even the dealership) installed a PA system. The horn is still there, but I am looking to find a vintage CB/ PA system to get it working again. Gotta be period correct for late '60's. Just a 318/727 combo with an open diff, but I would like to retire it to an engine stand and put in a 440/4 speed combination since I can't seem to find this in a numbers matching 68 Fury convertible, although it was available.
