My 1970 Charger R/T
Just got her home from Texas. Went from Dallas to KC and she purred the whole way. Trying not to stroke out over the spattered bugs, dirt and rain that wronged her on the trip home. The trip was almost perfect except for a small oil leak I noticed. Its hard to believe that when I posted my intro just a few short weeks ago I would actually have my dream car sitting in my garage tonight! On the 8 hour drive home I think I got a whole years worth of driving time in on it. And Wow, the rubbernecking that was goin on....well I knew I chose well. I have ever been honked at that many times.
Ill post specs and more pics after I rest up from the trip but I just wanted to share with you all.
More to come,
Gregg in KC

1970 R/T back from shop...More pics
So its back from round one at the shop. It's filthy but running better. Had the fuel lines reworked, upper ball joints replaced, replaced rear cylinders, replaced power steering gearbox, reworked exhaust manifolds ( were leaking ), hooked up pcv valve, put on the kickdown linkage.
Next phase will be the tranny work. Got the kickdown linkage on but now instead of staying in second until it hits 60 mph, its going into third almost instantly it seems. Does great if I shift manually though. Also has a small drip from the rear main which will need to be addressed at some point.
After the mechanical it will be time to start on the body, trim and interior. Some small issues here and there.
Here are some pics I took this eve. I wanted to give it a good wash but it was 101 today so that will need to wait.
