My 1970 Coronet R/T

Hi everyone I have a 1970 Coronet R/T that is a work in progress and has been for a few years now.

I had to take some time off (six years) from the project due to being sick and Im just now getting back into the game and wanting to finish this father and son project car.

My dad will be helping the best he can and you will see him in the pictures I have taken. My dad is now leagely blind but still one heck of a body man.

The R/T is an origina black car, black top, white bucket seats, air, console, 727 auto. 440 magnum, stripe delete, 8 3/4 rear and no options on the car.

This is the way the car sets now and has sat for six years. I always thought about selling it but something always kept me from selling it and well now the bug has bit me again to get back to work.

As you can see from the pictures I have some work ahead, well more then some work a lot of work but well worth it.

I got these from YearOne 8-9 years ago, they are not really full quarter panels. I think the ones being made today from another company and I cant think of their name off the top of my head are full panels. They have the sail on them, I think someone chim in if Im wrong.

YearOne sells them. Good like on your car and I hope to someday be healty enough to finish mine.

Looks like you got a good project. I love the '70 model Coronet's can't beat that "Bee Wing" front end! Nothing else like 'em! As soon as I get my current projects knocked out I'm going on the hunt for a '70 myself.
