thanks for the compliments.
mopardrt my my dart pretty much came outta a junk yard. sure wasnt no over night project, 4 years and its still not done. you'll get your dart where you want it to be, just takes time.
67gtx- next project is 36 ford pick-up rat rod. slammed to the ground, doing an early turbo cummins, big rig dually 10lug wheels in the back, machine gun hanging out the side window and a bomb for a gas tank. should look pretty interesting haha.
heres a thread of it, just got a lot done tonight actually no pics yet

Thats gonna be awesome when you get it done man, welcome to the forum btw. I love that green, can you get me a paint code by chance? I have been thinking about using a metallic flake green like that on my chally when I repaint it, which will hopefully be this summer.

you have one of the better looking darts i have ever seen. you can tell you put alot of hard work into it and it shows. nice job! one question for you......not including the gauges how much would a fabricated dash like yours run? even a rough estimate i dont want to be nosey but i was thinking of doing something like that to my dart!

Joe, I know where you may be able to find a cummins or two. Let me know if you still need one.

thanks, to be honest i dont know what a shop would charge to do that. if i had to guess i'd say at least a couple hundred. then if you wanted it painted and bondo'd to round the corners probably more. i'd say print a few pics of my dash and bring them to a few places and tell them your looking for something similar and see what they give you for a price. remember you get what you pay for

Very nice! Then you will have a complete truck to use so the swap should go very easy.Keep us posted in this thread of a new thread about the Cummins side of the project and the general tech stuff too (air bags, frame, etc).

ya the swap will go a lot easier with the hole truck if there is a swap. i might use the frame depending how it looks. its gonna be z-barred so i need it straight and flat. if its not i'm just gonna build one with some square tubing, shouldnt be to hard.

Wow... That is so awesome! I just spent like an hour or so reading the entire thread i must say that is one heck of a car. To bad they don't have a 6pack version of that cross manifold with 6 of those air cleaners sticking out like that would be crazy hahah (idk maybe not)

hey guys, been a while since i updated. just did an exhaust on the car. bought the summit kit and am very happy with it. only bad thing was the mufflers so i just used the ones i already had on. Im doing a lot of little things now cause in november ill be trailering the car down to florida for the month to go to a bunch of shows. Don Garlits, Turkey Run, Moparty are some of them. Maybe see some you guys down there. I also moved the water neck to the side instead of the middle so i could fit a bigger fan and put a new thermostat in and shes running much cooler. Other plans are new oil pan/pick up tube, wet sand and buff again, finish trunk. Heres a few pics and a video of how the exhaust sounds
dont mind the exhaust tips there even now
