mopar calander
The only problem with a calander is alot of people might say they would buy one and at the last min not buy one and we would have all these calanders floating around , unless they were free to the admin; some one might lose money and thats not good
We tried this on another forum I am a member of back in 2005 (my car was featured in it) we had orders for 100, and they were made by a member at his own cost, last I heard he still had more than 50 left. So, I don't really think it's a good idea unless they are prepaid orders. As for a t-shirt, good luck there too, this is a website that makes little to no money, it is free to join, free to use, and that's the bottom line I was actually surprised to hear that someone actually made the window decals.
The forum to hosted by a larger company that hosts hundreds (literally) of other forums. If they were to do anything for one forum, they would have to do it/offer it to all the other forums as well.
I have personally talked with the manager at the host company about stuff like this. He said that they would be more than happy to offer mechandise to the forums but they do not have the money or the space for storage.
I can look into a calander again and see if the price has come down at all.

Do a calender of the monthly winners I would buy some maybe pre pay and get a miniuim number to order say 250-500 ask for a few other pictures of the winners when I enterd my Cuda it wasnt a great pic in my opinion
What if we just did a print on demand like through Cafe Press? One person submits the calendar design, then anyone who wants one orders it directly from Cafe Press - http://www.cafepress.com/make/custom-photo-calendars/. This way there is no upfront cost for anyone and it doesn't matter if we buy 5 of them or 500 of them.
